Suwanee

Suwanee is a small city Gwinnett County. Suwanee was one of the fastest-growing cities in Georgia through the 1990s. This area is blessed with an excellent education system and industry and business abound. Its close proximity to Atlanta benefits residents with world class arts, sports, recreation, dining, lodging and multitudes of entertainment options.

Suwanee, as did most towns in Georgia, started out as an Indian village. It was centered around the Chattahoochee River, where societies flourished.  The city of Suwanee itself was established and officially recognized by the U.S. government in 1837 upon the erection of a post office.
