Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne is a small island paradise located seven miles south of Miami. Key Biscayne is connected to the mainland by a bridge. It was incorporated in 1991, and is part of Dade County. The population of Key Biscayne is 12,344 residents. Key Biscayne is famous for its excellent fishing, beaches, sunsets, gorgeous scenery, beaches, tennis courts, and golf. The University of Miami’s Sea Lab is located here which allows students to study the fragile ecology of Biscayne Bay. Also located here is the world famous Miami Seaquarium which was home to Flipper and Lolita the Killer Whale and is still home to many other sea animals and attractions.
