Deerfield Beach

The city of Deerfield Beach is located in Southern Florida in Broward County. Deerfield was incorporated as a town on June 11, 1925 with a population of about 1,300 people. The name was changed to the Town of Deerfield Beach in 1939 when the population had reached 1,800. By 1951, much growth had occurred and the town became a city. It now has a population of 75,018 residents per 2010 census and covers over 12 square miles of land.  During the summer months average temperatures tend to be in the 80s, giving residents the perfect weather to spend the day on the beach.
