Bainbridge Island
Bainbridge Island is located in Puget Sound just off the Washington Coast and only a short ferry ride from Seattle of about 20 minutes. Bainbridge Island has a population of over 20,750 residents with an area of 27.78 square miles. The city of Winslow which is the island's only city was incorporated on August 23, 1947. The island has a variety of shops, deli's, restaurants and businesses. Homes are snuggled amongst rocky beaches, quiet trails and majestic tall pines. The island encapsulates the flora and fauna that the Pacific Northwest is known for. With its close proximity to Seattle there are no limits to recreation, shopping, sports, specialized schools, the arts, dining, lodging, employment opportunities and much more.
