Grants Pass, Oregon
Grants Pass is located in Josephine County, which is in the southwestern region of Oregon about one hour north of the California border and an hour and a half from the Pacific Ocean. Grants Pass has a population of about 31,000 residents and is the largest city in Josephine County and is the county seat. Grants Pass was once awarded the prestigious title of "All American City". This region is referred to as the Rogue River Valley due to the famous Rogue River which winds through the entire valley. The Rogue River is world renowned for many reasons including its excellent sport fishing and white water rafting and has been the backdrop for Hollywood movies starring famous personalities such as John Wayne and Katherine Hepburn. This is a family oriented community which boasts year round festivals and fairs.
