Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Eden Prairie, Minnesota is located in Hennepin County. American Indians first lived in this fertile region. An 1851 treaty allowed pioneers easy access to the area that in 1858 would become Eden Prairie. Eden Priairie owes much of its early development to cattle farming, and agriculture which is still found here, but today it is also home to upscale neighborhoods and corporations. Eden Prairie is home to about 50,000 residents and its quick growth is expected to top out at over 65,000 in the year 2010.
