Evansville, Indiana
Evansville, Indiana is located along the banks of the Ohio River. It all began when Colonel Hugh McGary founded Evansville on March 27,1812. He purchased 200 acres from the government and built a small log cabin on the land that has now become downtown. The Evansville metropolitan area has a population of 278,990 residents.
