Rancho Palos Verdes is on the Pacific Coast and on the southwest side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and within Los Angeles County and is 23 miles from Los Angeles. Rancho Palos Verdes has a population of about 42,000 residents. It is the youngest city on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. There are four cities on the peninsula, they are...Rolling Hills Estates, Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes Estates and of course Rancho Palos Verdes. There are no hotels, motels, hospitals or major industries located on the Peninsula. The peninsula covers 75,000 beaufiful acres.
