Moorpark, California

On July 1, 1983, the town of Moorpark incorporated to become the 10th city within Ventura County. Moorpark covers an area of 12.44 sq. miles and has a population of approximately 26,500 residents. Moorpark is a planned community with a balanced concept of growth implemented by a General Plan. Moorpark continues to retain its "small town" values, where neighbors unite to help one another, but the City Council and various commissions are progressive and highly supportive of business and industry.
