Modesto is located on State Highway 99, the major north-south route within California. Interstate 5 is just 20 miles to the east. Modesto has access to three major Pacific ports -Port of Stockton, Oakland, and San Francisco. It has a population of 206,000 residents and covers over 48 square miles of land and is in Stanislaus County.
